New Delhi: The ministry of shipping, road transport and highways and national highways authority of India is going to develop three port road connectivity projects in Odisha. The projects are six laning of Paradip-Chandikhol road,  four laning of Dhamra-Jamujhadi road and Gopalpur- Chatrapur road.

The minister of state for shipping, road rtansport and highways and chemical & fertilizers, Mansukh L. Mandaviya, said  in a written reply to a question in the Rajya Sabha on Monday that the ministry had signed MoU for a total of 79 port connectivity road projects in the country. While four would come in Gujarat, 15 in Maharastra, 2 in Goa, 5 in Karnataka, 3 in Kerela, 13 in Tamil Nadu, 31 in Andhra Pradesh, 3 in Odisha and 4 in West Bengal. The projects are idenfied under Sagarmala programme, he informed.
