EUS or Endo-ultrasonography is a medical procedure in which endosonocopy (insertion of a probe into a hollow organ) is combined with high resolution ultrasound to obtain images of the internal organs in the chest, abdomen and colon, much better than CT and MRI. Diseases deep inside the chest and abdomen are diagnosed very accurately by this technology. Tissue sample or biopsy obtained from deep structures very safely leading to correct diagnosis of cancers and other diseases. It helps staging different cancers for proper treatment.

The greatest advantage of this advanced technology is to perform different blood less surgeries inside the chest and abdomen extremely safely and patients are discharged the same day. It helps to provide palliative treatment for very advanced cancers, thus improving the quality of life. This technology is one of the great discovery in the field of intervention gastroenterology, extremely accurate in diagnosing and treating diseases.
