Bhubaneswar: The Birla Institute of Management & Technology (Bimtech)-Bhubaneswar celebrated its annual convocation for its 2015-17 batches of PGDM students in its campus on Saturday. Reliance Industries group president HR  Bijay Sahoo, in his convocational address, said  the students should focus on three aspects for professional success -“Existence, Co-existence  and Leadership”. He advised the students to “update themselves constantly, learn globally and to be humble in all spheres of life”. Birla Global University (Bgu) member board of governors and registrar Dr. B.K Das  urged the students not be complacent in their high salaried corporate jobs but instead resort to entrepreneurship. He remarked,“Innovation is key to growth & continuous innovation is key to sustainable growth”. Bimtech director Dr. Parameswar Nayak, while presenting the annual progress report, said students should stick to ethics  and values in professional life. He advised the students to give back to the disadvantaged sections of society. The Bgu vice chancellor and eminent economist Sudhakar Panda congratulated the diploma holders and wished them a bright future ahead. PGDM coordinator Dr. Archana Choudhary also spoke on the occasion.
