Mumbai: Odisha chief minister Naveen Patnaik Wednesday invited the captains of Indian industries to invest in the state assuring that the state will offer an unmatched facilitation support for their ventures.
“I extend a very warm welcome to all of you present here today, to come and experience the countless opportunities that my state offers. I assure you of unmatched facilitation support from my Government. I look forward to see you all in Bhubaneswar at the Make in Odisha Conclave 2018. Come, Join the Juggernaut,” exhorted Patnaik
Patnaik was addressing the Odisha Investors’ Meet here as a prelude to the Make-in-Odisha (MiO) Conclave 2018. The state government has firmed up a partnership with India’s leading industries body FICCI for the MiO scheduled to be held in Bhubaneswar from November 11 to 15.
The chief minister said : The First Edition of the MiO Conclave evoked enthusiastic response with announcement of above Rupees 2 lakh crore of investment intent. I am glad to announce that we are organizing the Second Edition of our flagship initiative, the MiO Conclave 2018 to showcase the manufacturing prowess of the state and the investment potential in diverse sectors.
Patnaik flagged off the ‘I am Odisha’ campaign aimed at paying tribute to architects of modern Odisha and contemporary achievers across various sectors. The campaign celebrates people from the state by highlighting stories that have contributed to the state’s success. ‘I am Odisha’ will conclude in a grand finale at the MiO Conclave-2018.
‘I am Odisha’ is the theme of the MiO 2018 which aimed at people’s involvement in creating a vibrant ecosystem for business in the state. ‘I am Odisha’ will be a unique platform for the people to share their stories that showcase the ‘Odisha of today’ and present their vision for the ‘Odisha of future‘. The CM also launched the official web portal for MiO Conclave-2018 www.mio.investodisha.gov.in) featuring State’s robust business ecosystem, investment opportunities across focus sectors & swift facilitation structure.
