Panaji: BJP is going to win the Odisha assembly election due this year, said BJP national president Amit Shah.

Shah, told his party workers, here on Saturday, that Odisha and West Bengal would going to be ruled by BJP after the elections in these states.

Shah, while addressing 10,000 workers at the Atal Booth Karyakarta Sammelan, said

” We have now make inroads into North East. We are already in 16 states, but after the coming elections we will also be there in Odisha and West Bengal ,” he said.

While Naveen Patnaik led BJD is in power in Odisha, Mamata Banerjee headed Trinamool Congress is ruing the West Bengal.

Odisha assembly elections will be held along with the Lok Sabha elections this year in April-May while assembly polls are slated to be held in in West Bengal in 2021.

The BJP has formed government in Assam, Tripura, Arunachal Pradesh and Manipur in the North-East in the last three years.
