Chennai: Kangna Ranaut will feature in Jayalalithaa biopic ‘Thalaivi’.
Director AL Vijaya has announced on the occasion of actress Kangana’s birth day that that she will be in the lead role the film based on the life history of film actress turned politician Jayalalitha who become the chief minister of Tamil Nadu. The multilingual film will also be made in Hindi besides Tamil. The film produced by Vishnu Induri will start rolling from April this year. Baahubali famed script writer Vijayendra Prasad has been roped in to supervise the writing process.
It was in February this year the film was announced on the occasion of the 71st birth anniversary of Jayalalithaa.
