Bhubaneswar: Odisha chief minister Naveen Patnaik Wednesday handed over the appointment letters to 106 newly recruited Welfare Extention Officers (WEO) in the State SC, SC, OBC and Minority Welfare department.

Speaking on the occasion Patnaik said Odisha has become a model State in the country in implementing welfare programes. Many other States have appreciated Odisha’s programmes and adopted some of them.

SC & ST Development, Minorities & Backward Class Welfare minister Jaganath Saraka, principal secretary Ranjana Chopra and director Sachin Ramchander Yadav were present.
