Bhubaneswar: BSNL Bhubaneswar Circle chief general manager Uday Shankar Panda sees a conspiracy by the rival telecom operators to destabilize the customer base of the national telecom service provider .
Panda, in a statement, has said that the rival telecom operators in the State are spreading rumor that the BSNL will be closed down. Referring to the recent news about the BSNL’s closure in certain newspaper and social media, the CGM said that these are false propaganda and not based on facts. He clarified that neither the government of India has any such agenda nor it has any such proposal to wind up BSNL.
“Certain vested interest people and some rival telecom operators are spreading such canard against BSNL to wean away the customers of the Central-sector telecom enterprise”, the Odisha circle BSNL CGM has stated.
Panda has urged the BSNL customers not to be carried with this type of cheap propaganda. He reiterated the BSNL’s commitment to provide quality telecom service at an affordable price to the people.
