Bhubaneswar: SOA deemed to be university of Odisha signed an MoU with Nepal’s Kathmandu-based Tribhuvan university for cooperation in furthering the standard of higher education internationally and joint research.

 The MoU was signed by Tribhuvan university centre for international relations executive diretor Prof. (Dr.) Bhupa Prasad Dhamala, and SOA registrar Prof. B.B.Pradhan in the presence of SOA’s president Prof. Manojranjan Nayak, here on Sunday.

The MoU would enable the two universities to undertake student and faculty exchange programmes and joint research besides collaborating in conduct of seminars, workshops and conferences.

Speaking on the occasion, Prof. Dhamala praised the rapid strides taken by SOA saying it had caught the eye in both academics and research within a short time. SOA dean(research & development) Prof. P.K.Nanda, outlined the activities of the university.

  Among others, Prof. (Dr.) Om Prasad Baral, Deputy Director, Monitoring Directorate, Tribhuvan University, Prof. (Dr.) Shankar Prasad Adhikari, Associate Administrator, Institute of Medicine, Tribhuvan University, Prof. (Dr.) D.P.Yadav, Senior Scientist, Nepal Agricultural Research Council, Prof. Jyoti Ranjan Das, SOA’s Dean (Students’ Welfare) and Dr. Nachiketa Sharma, SOA’s Director (International Admissions) were present.
