Bhubaneswar: The Public Relations Council of India(PRCI), country’s largest body of PR professionals, organised a national conference on ‘PR Analytics: Challenges Ahead’, in collaboration with East Coast Railway, Sikhsha ‘O’ Aunsandhan University and Birla Global University, here on Saturday.

East Coast Railway general manager Vidya Bhushan inaugurated the conference while Ravenshaw University vice chancellor Ishan Patro graced the occasion as guest of honour. PRCI, Bhubaneswar, chairman Ashok Kumar Panda, working president Dilip Kumar Bisoi and Joshi also spoke on the occasion.

East Coast chief public relation officer (CPRO) J.P.Mishra, Nalco deputy general manager Lalatendu Das, head of journalism department, Ravenshaw University Jayanta Swain, Rourkela Steel Plant manager corporate communication Sashanka Patnaik, and head of journalism department, BJB College Nalini Patra presented papers in two sessions which were chaired by KVR Murthy, former chairman Jute Corporation of India, and RN Mohapatra, former CPRO of Eastern Railway, Kolkata. The sessions were on PR Analytics: Challenges and PR Analytics: Assessment.

Baidyanath Mishra, former manager PR, Rourkela Steel Plant, Aparna Rastogi, assistant professor, NIFT, Bhubaneswar, Rainy Rose, doctorate scholar, Xavier University, and Gyanaranjan Mishra, Biral Global University were expert presenters on the topic Future of Public Relations.
