Bhubaneswar: Odisha government has made wearing of mask compulsory in the State from 9th April,2020.

The State revenue and disaster management department by virtue of its order 2126 dated 06.04.2020 has directed all the people in the State to wear mask from 7pm of 9th April.

” The general public is directed to cover their mouth and nose with any available form of mask while stepping out of the house for any purpose. A handkerchief or any other piece of cloth in at least two layers can also be used for the purpose, until further orders,” said the order issued under the signature of chief secretary and chairman of State Executive Committee of the Disaster Management Authority, Asit Tripathy.
