Bhubaneswar: as the Odisha chief minister Naveen Patnaik has appealed the people of Odisha to sing Bande Utkal Janani at 5.30 pm on 30th May, the State secretariat ( Lok Seva Bhawan) premises would be vacated to facilitate the government employees join the chorus maintaining social distance.

The home department has asked all the department not to park their vehicles inside the Lok Seva Bhawan for one days.

“CM, Odisha has appealed to all the Odia people in and outside the State and the country to sing “Vande Utkal Janani”,thc state song at 5.30PM at 30th May ,2020 as a gesture of appreciation of the work by COVII) warriors and to respect their sacrifice. The event will be observed in prominent Govt. offices including Lok Seva Bhawan in a befitting manner by maintaining social distancing and related protocols. The premises of Lok Seva Bhawan will be kept vacant from 6.30PM of 29.05.2020 to 6.30 PM of 30.05.2020 for making necessary preparatory arrangements for the event on 5.30PM of 30.05.2020.”
“It is thcrcforc informed that no vehicles (Four whcclcr/two wheeler) will be allowed to be parked in thc open space available on the front of Lok Seva Bhawan starting from today 6.30 PM to 6.30 PM tomorrow. During this period vehicles will be allowed to pick up and drop the officers inside Lok Seva Bhawan and park their vehicles in parking space available at the backside of Lok Seva Bhawan and other parking spaces,” said the home department notification.
