Kanpur: Gangster Vikash Dubey has been killed in police encounter on the wee hours of Friday.
The incident took place between Jhansi and Kanpur.
Police sources said when Dubey was being brought to Kanpur from Ujjain by the UP police he tried to flee when one of the cars of the police convoy overturned on the way between Jhansi and Kanpur. The police had to open fire as he was trying to escape from the scene.
