Bhubaneswar: The Odisha Small Industries Corporation (OSIC) has contributed Rs 10 lakh to the Chief Minister’s Relief Fund (CMRF).

The OSIC chairman Chinmoy Sahoo presented the cheque to the chief Secretary Suresh Chandra Mahapatra, here on Saturday.

Chairman Sahoo said, ” Because of the visionary leadership and timely action of the chief minister Naveen Patnaik has done well in containing spread of the pandemic. Today Odisha is comparatively in better position than many neighbouring States. Odisha is providing the test and treatment facilities to all Covid infected person free of cost. With people’s participation in observance of the Covid norms, Odisha will be able to check the virus to a large extent in coming days”.


Chief secretary Mahapatra complimented the Corporation employees and officials for the contribution and urged upon them to follow all guidelines of Covid both at the official and personal levels. Managing director of the Corporation Pradipta Kumar Sahani accompanied the chairman on the occasion.
