Bhubaneswar: Odisha chief minister Naveen Patnaik Thursday announced Rs1690.46 lakh crore special Covid assistance for the poor and needy people.
Out of this Rs 178.91 crore special covid assistance to landless farmers. Over 17.83 lakh landless farmers will get Rs 1000 each. Farmers covered under KALIA Yojana would get Rs 207.07 crore toward their three instalments during the year.
Construction workers will get Rs 360 crore.
Urban poor’s covered under Mukta Yojana will get Rs 260 crore. Rs 300 crore will be spend in NREGS and Rs 92.86 crore in SFSS.
A total of Rs33.10. crore will given assistance to PVTG and Rs 252.35 crore for prematric scholarship.
