Bhubaneswar: Regional Executive Director, NTPC Eastern Region -II Headquarter, Ashim Kumar Goswami, said NTPC is diversifying into renewable energy in a big way.
Delivering the keynote address in the round table discussion on the topic “” Energy Transition-Decarbonization and Climate Change of India” organized by Bengal Chamber of Commerce and Industry in Kolkata, recently, Goswami said NTPC is emerging as a major player in green energy like Solar, Wind, Hydro projects, Biomass pallet Co firing in thermal stations, Hydrogen co firing for Gas stations, and additional Pilot scale projects such as Carbon Capture, Green Hydrogen applications.
The Meet was attended by various distinguished members of the industry. His Keynote address has been appreciated by the audience as inspirational and stimulating.
He also suggested that all industries need to setup RE manufacture and fabrication unit to follow “MAKE IN INDIA” campaign.
