Bhubaneswar: Aditya Birla Public School Bhubaneswar celebrated Utkal Divas with great enthusiasm and fervor.
The students of the school participated in various activities to mark the occasion. They sang the state song “Bande Utkal Janani” with great zeal and enthusiasm. They also recited poems and delivered speeches in Odia, the state language, showcasing the rich culture and heritage of Odisha.
As a part of the celebration, the students were attired as different eminent personalities of Odisha, such as Madhusudan Das, Gopabandhu Dash, Biju Patnaik, Sarala Devi, and spoke about their contributions to the state. This activity helped the students gain a deeper understanding of the state’s history and culture.
Principal, L N Dash, addressed the students and emphasized the importance of Utkal Divas and the need to preserve and celebrate the state’s rich cultural heritage. He also urged the students to take pride in their roots and work towards the progress and development of the state.
In this connection, the school also organized a Mo Odisha Quiz, which tested the students’ knowledge of the State’s history, geography, culture, and traditions. The quiz was highly interactive and engaging, and the students thoroughly enjoyed participating in it.
