Bhubaneswar: TP Central Odisha Distribution Limited (TPCODL) has introduced an inclusive digital payment initiative in collaboration with the State Bank of India (SBI) and Razorpay. This customer friendly solution is designed to enhance accessibility and ease of use for customers, particularly those less familiar with digital platforms.
The initiative was unveiled by Arvind Singh, Chief Executive Officer, TPCODL and Sushanta Kumar Das, Deputy General Manager (Digital & Transaction Banking), SBI at TPCODL’s corporate office in Bhubaneswar.
With this initiative, TPCODL aims to achieve 80% digital payment transactions by August 2025 driving a significant shift toward cashless operations in its service areas. The platform simplifies the process of digital payments, enabling even traditionally cash-paying consumers to transact digitally with confidence and security.
Arvind Singh said, “Our aim is to make digital payments accessible to everyone, especially in rural and semi-urban areas. By leveraging trusted platforms like SBI and Razorpay, we are ensuring that our customers have safe, simple and secure options to pay their bills digitaly.This initiative reflects TPCODL’s commitment to fostering digital empowerment and bridging the digital divide across urban, semi-urban and rural communities.”
