Bhubaneswar : The Central Bureau of Communication (CBC), Regional Office, together with the Press Information Bureau (PIB), Bhubaneswar, under the aegis of the Ministry of Informatior and Broadcasting, successfully conducted the “Poshan Maah and Raibhasha Hind Workshop”, here on Wednesday.
Presiding over the function, Akhil Kumar Mishra, Additional Director General of PIB & CBC, eloguently emphasised that Rajbhasha Hindi is not merely a medium of communication but also a potent symbol of social and cultural unity. He underscored that the judicious deployment of Hindi in official endeavours forges a resonant connection with the common citizen.
“By conveying central government schemes, projects, and awareness campaigns in both Hindi and local languages, accessibility, comprehension, and public engagement are markedly enhanced”. he flagged.
On the theme of Poshan Maah, Mishra highlighted the indispensable importance of nutritional awareness for women, children, and families–underscoring that healthy families are the corner stone of a thriving society, and the nation’s advancement hinges on their well-being. He urged citizens to adopt the mantra of “Smart and Healthy Eating”, asserting that conscientious dietary habits not only fortify individual health but also contribute significantly to collective societal welliness.
Dr.Snehalata Dash, Assistant Professor at Rama Devi Women’s University and special guest, accentuated that Rajbhasha Hindi serves as a bridge of social, literary, and administrative unity. Dr. Dash further stressed that a healthy body and mind form the bedrock of national prosperity, reiterating that sustainable development is unattainable without robust nutrition.
Ms.Swayamprabha Mohanty, Special Secretary, Department of Women and Child Development, Govt. of Odisha, called the promotion and conscientious use of Rajbhasha Hindi in official domains a national responsibility. She invoked the critical role of nutrition in the empowerment of women and children, particularly spotlighting the “Mukhyamantri Sampoorna Poshan Yojana”.
Ms. Kirti Singh, Assistant Director, Department of Official Language, Government of India, as Guest of Honour, described Rajbhasha Hindi as a vibrant symbol of identity, unity, and cultural heritage-a robust foundation for national cohesion, literary expression, and administrative clarity.
