Bhubaneswar: NIF Global Bhubaneswar recently hosted its highly anticipated annual event, Navyata 2025, a dazzling showcase of design innovation and creativity.
The event began with the Convocation Ceremony, celebrating the remarkable achievemnents of the grad uating students from NIF Global.
Ashutosh Panda, Centre Director, said, “Navyata was a testament to the boundless creativity and innovative spirit of our students. This annual event brought together a fusion of traditional craftsmanship and modern design, showcasing the best of both worlds. We were proud to present a platform where our students could shine and make a significant impact on the fashion and interior design industries.The Interior Design students displayed their creativity through a range of innovative home and decor products. Ťhis included furniture crafted from materials like bamboo and terracotta, lighting and tableware designed using textiles and other unique materials, and creative wall decor featuring functional solutions that enhanced living spaces.”
The event was highlighted by the presence of Ollywood celebrities Shivani Sangita, Subhasis Nath Sharma, and Dr. Saiprasanna Behera. The showstoppers for the evening were actors Ashima Pati, Raj Rajesh, Abhishek Giri, Arpita Sahoo, and Debjani.
The Fashion Design students presented an impressive array of collections inspired by various themes:Every garment is a canvas: Where brushstrokes meet silhouettes, and tradition meets contemporary design. The collection embodies freedom, individuality, and the sheer joy of wearing art.
• MACREME: The collection takes its inspiration from the ancient art of macramé, where intricate knots and handwoven textures transform into contemporary statements of style.
LOOM BOSS: This collection redefines office wear through the timeless elegance of Khadi Handloom, blending the raw authenticity of handwoven fabric with sharp, structured silhouettes that embody confidence, authority, and grace.
INDIAN HISTORY: This collection is a tribute to the grace, strength, and regality of Indian queens, with rich silks, intricate embroideries, and jewel-toned palettes reflecting their timeless allure.
