Bhubaneswar: The Odisha Operations of ArcelorMittal Nippon Steel India (AM/NS India) has won the prestigious “Champion (Outstanding) Award” in the ‘Water Management” category under the Steel Sector at the 19th EXCEED Environment Award 2025, held here, recently. This recognition celebrates the company’s exemplary efforts in sustainable water management practices, contributing significantly to environmental stewardship and corporate responsibility.
Dr. Bhaskar Chatterjee, former union steel secretary and chairman, National Committee for Formulation of Indian National ESG Standards, along with Ms. Pranavi Luthra, vice president, EKDKN, presented the award to Suvendu Kumar Dash, Head, Environment & Sustainability, AM/NS India Odisha, and Debadatta Das, Incharge, Environment & Sustainability, AMNS India Paradeep, in a function hosted by the Sustainable Development Initiative (a unit of Ek Kaam Desh Ke Naam).
