Bhubaneswar: TP Central Odisha Distribution Limited (TPCODL), a joint venture of Tata Power and the Government of Odisha, has been awarded the Kalinga Safety Excellence National Award, in Premium Gold Category at the National Safety Conclave 2025, held recently at the Constitution Club of India, New Delhi.

Established by the Institute of Quality and Environment Management Services (IQEMS), the Kalinga Safety Excellence Awards are among India’s leading honours in Occupational Safety, Health and Environment (OSH/SHE). For the 2024 assessment year, organisations were evaluated through a rigorous, objective review of key parameters, including safety systems, awareness initiatives and overall safety culture.

TPCODL’s Premium Gold recognition highlights its strong commitment to proactive safety leadership and continuous improvement across its operations. The award was received by Dushyant Kumar Tyagi, COO, TPCODL and presented by distinguished dignitaries including Dr. Rajbir Singh, Hon’ble Minister, Labour & Employment, Uttar Pradesh, Dr. Rabi Narayan Behera, Hon’ble MP, Jajpur, Shri Priyadarshi Mishra, Senior BJP Leader and Brigadier Alok Jain, among others.Adding to the achievement, TPCODL Paradeep Electrical Circle was honoured with the Kalinga Safety Excellence National Award, Large Scale Industry (Gold Category) at the conclave held in Bhubaneswar.

The award was presented by Ms. Surama Padhy, Speaker, Odisha Legislative Assembly.
