Bhubaneswar : Odisha goverenment under the leadership of Chief Minister Mohan Majhi Wednesday decided to develop Bhubaneswar-Cuttack-Puri-Paradip Economic Region with an aim to make these cities as Growth Hubs.
At a high-level meeting chaired by CM and attended by Urban Minister Dr. Krushna Chandra Mohapatra, Chief Secretary Manoj Ahuja, Development Commissioner Ms. Anu Garg, Urban Principal Secretary Usha Padhee, CM’s Principal Secretary Saswat Mishra, Director Municipalities Arbinda Dakua, it has decided to link these four cities with a 645km long ring road.
Industries related to agriculture & animal husbandry, manufacturing, transport, port-based industries, chemicals, textiles, IT would be promoted in this region besides tourism.
