Bhubaneswar: Dr. Arabinda Kumar Padhee, an Odisha cadre IAS officer of 1996 batch, has been promoted to the rank of Additional Chief Secretary.
Odisha goverenment has promoted Dr. Padhee to the Apex Grade of Level-17 of the Pay Matrixin IAS w.e.f. 01.01.2026.
On promotion to the Apex Grade, Dr. Padhee, IAS is appointed in the rank of Additiona Chief Secretary and is allowed to continue in situ until further orders, said the government notification.
The State government has also allowed Sushil Kumar Lohani, an Odisha cadre IAS officer of 1995 batch proforma promotion as Additional Chief Secretary in the rank of Apex Grade i.e. Level-17 of the Pay Matrix in IAS.
Dr. Padhee is currently is the Principal Secretary of Agriculture department and the Chief Administrator of Puri Jagannath Temple.
Lohani is on Central deputation to Centre. He is now the Additional Secretary Panchyati Raj Ministry.
