Bhubaneswar : A boy and a girl endured pain and humiliation for the sake of love. They faced a village kangaroo court which punished them to plough a field being oxen.
The lovers were then driven out of the village. The boy and and the girl are related and the tribal tradition doesn’t endorse marriage in relations. So the villagers decided to punish the couple.
The incident happened in Kalyanghpur area of Rayagada district in Odisha. The Kalyansingpur police is investigating in to the case after the video of the incident went viral.
