Bhubaneswar : Odisha goverenment Wednesday constituted a Rehabilitation and Resettlement Committee at the Project Level for Sijimali Bauxite Mines by M/s Vedanta Limited in Rayagada district.
The Committee, formed under the chairmanship of Rayagada district collector to facilitate smooth bauxite mining from Sijimali mines, is represented by various stake holders of the mining project.
As per provisions under Section 45 of the Right to Fair Compensation and Transparency in Land Acquisition, Rehabilitation and Resetlement(RFCTLAR&R) Act, 2013, read with Rule 36 of the Odisha Right to Fair Compensation and Transparency in Land Acquisition, Rehabillation Restlement at the Project Level for Sijimal Bauxite Mines by M/s Vedanta Limited in Rayagada and Resetlement(ORFCTLAR&R) Rules, 2016, the commite for Rehablilation is consttuted comprising of the followving nembers to review the progress of the, implementation and to carryout post-implementation
Ms. Munidei @Muni Majhi, Representative of the Women Member residing in the affected area, Ghasi Majhi, Representative of the Scheduled Tribes residing in the affected area, Ms. Manasi Pradhan, President, OYSS Women, NGO, Special Land Acquisition Officer, Rayagada Member Asistant Manager, State Bank of India, Kashjpur, Kanthe Majh, Chairperson, Panchayat Samiti, Kshpur, Chairperson of the District Planning Committee or his nominee, Saptagiri Ulaka,Member of Parliament.
