Keonjhar: Athletes from the Odisha AM NS India Kho Kho High Performance Centre (HPC) performed brilliantly at the 69th Odisha State School Kho Kho Tournament 2025-26, held at D.N. High School, Keonjhar. The championship featured spirited competition, with the U-17 category matches conducted from 6th to 8th November 2025 and the U-14 category matches from 8th to 10th November 2025.
The Puri Boys team emerged as champions in the U-17 category, with HPC athletes Subham Biswal, Sunil Naik, and Saurav Nayak playing pivotal roles in their team’s success. The Bhubaneswar Girls team also lifted the U-1 7 title, powered by the remarkable performances of HPC players Lisarani Raita, Subhashree Mallick, Raktima Bhanda, and Chinmayee Pradhan.
In the U-14 Boys category, Puri Boys team claimed the championship, with HPC talents Aditya Das and Subham Dalai contributing significantly to their victory.
A total of 16 athletes from the HPC represented districts across Odisha, showcasing their skill, discipline, and determination including Subham Biswal, Sunil Naik, Saurav Nayak, Samikshya Biswal, Ramlal Birua, Bijay Tuika, in U-1 7 boys category and Lisaran Raita, Subhashree Malick, Raktima Bhanda, Chinmayee Pradhan, G. Nandini, Bhagyashree Nayak, Tefransis Rana, Lipina Nath in U-17 girls category and Aditya Das and Subham Dalai in U-14 boys category.
The athletes praised the Odisha AMNS India Kho Kho High Performance Centre for the support they received, from strength training to match simulations, which elevated their game to the next level.
