Bhubaneswar: The 29th Board Meetings of power distribution companies (DISCOMs) in Odisha was appraised that the AT & C loss has came down to 14.6% in FY 2026 from 29.5% in FY 2020.

The meeting, held under the chairpersonship of Chief Secretary Ms. Anu Garg, Thursday reviewed the performance, operational efficiency, and ongoing initiatives of various DISCOMs, TPNODL,TPSODL, TPCODL and TPWODL.

Odisha has topped in the country in Utility-Led Aggregation (ULA) Scheme, susidised1kw roof top solar adoptation introduced by Ministry of New and Renewable Energy. ULA scheme has achived 29,000 installations

Odisha is witnessing a strong push towards clean energy adoption under the PM Surya Ghar: Muft Bijli Yojana (PMSG-MBY). As per report, 55,888 installations have been completed under PMSG-MBY.

Odisha has set an ambitious target of bringing 3 lakh households under rooftop solar coverage, marking a significant step in its clean energy transition. So far, the State has achieved 83,979 RTS installations, reflecting steady progress on the ground.
