Bhubaneswar: The Odisha chief minister, Naveen Patnaik, Friday asserted that the visit of BJP national president Amit Saha would have no impact in Odisha.

“I don’t see any impact”, Patnaik told media persons when asked whether there would be any impact of Saha’s visit.

Patnaik also reiterated his doubt over BJP’s projection of getting 120 seats in coming state assembly election.

The BJD supremo said, “I doubt whether they will get so many seats in the next elections.”

Replying to Saha’s remark that the BJD has grown old, Patnaik said, “I don’t know what he is doubting of my age.”

Saha, who concluded his three day visit on Friday, addressed 27 meetings with party leaders, frontal organization leaders, intellectuals, newspaper and television channel editors and about 40,000 BJP mandal committee members.

Saha exhorted the  mandal committee members on Friday to throw out the BJD government to the sea. Stating that his party would get 120 seats in the coming election, he urged them to assert the figure shouting so loudly so that the doubt of BJD chief would washed away.

Making a scathing attack on Naveen Patnaik, the BJP chief described him as a burnt transformer and depicted Prime Minister Narendra Modi as power house which provides light to the nation. Under Naveen’s regime unemployment has increased in the state. Stating that Odisha is far away from development, he said there is need to make Odisha a developed state.

Asserting that there is no bolt of corruption on any minister of Modi government, Saha said that the BJP on coming to power all those involved in Chit Fund Scam would be sent to jail.

The conch party head also reiterated his ‘doubt’ over the chances of BJP achieving the ‘120+’ target in the general elections in Odisha.
