Bhubaneswar: As many as  3,600 industrial units have joined the on board Odisha’s Single-Window Investor Facilitation & Tracking (Go Swift) portal  within a month of its launch on November 16.

“The portal has received an overwhelming response and 3,615 industrial units have come into the fold of Go Swift within just 30 days of its launch,”  said the state industries minister, Niranjan Pujari.  With its launch, Odisha has made landmark development from a pre-dominantly paper-based system to an end-to-end online system for all major clearances and support sought by industrial units, he added.

Using Go Swift,  new industrial units can obtain necessary information regarding investible projects, applicable incentives and clearances required through an interactive tool called ‘Info Wizard’. The units can also select suitable industrial land on a Geographic Information System (GIS)-based platform, ‘Go Plus’. Go Swift facilitates online approval from the Single Window Authority and Land allotment from IDCO.

Industrial units can apply, make payment, track the status of their applications and obtain approvals for 32 G2B services from 15 state government departments. The industries department is in the process of bringing more services under the ambit of Go Swift.

Existing industrial units in the state can also apply to regulatory agencies for renewal of licenses, take advantage of risk-based synchronised inspections using ‘Go Smile ‘ and avail post-land allotment services from IDCO using APAA (Automated Post Allotment Application), among other facilities.

The industries principal secretary, Sanjeev Chopra said, “Go Swift has seamlessly integrated all existing technological applications of the Industries Department via the Single Sign-On (SSO) Framework to provide unmatched facilitation to new as well as existing industries in the state.”
