Bhubaneswar:The Odisha MSME minister, Prafulla Samal, launched the IED Foods trademark, here on Thursday.

Institute of Entrepreneurs Development(IED) is producing a batch of food processing entrepreneurs in its Livlihood Business Incubator(LBI). The IED also intends to produce and market food products by entrepreneurs trained by it in the LBI in the brand name ‘IED Foods’.

The minister also launched food products like mixed fruit, jam, jelly, mango juice, pineapple juice, orange juice, pickles, chowmin, snacks (such as gaja, namkeen), atta, besan, soya milk, soya tofu produced by the incubatees and would be marketed in the trademark IED Foods.

IED chief executive officer(CEO) Samarendra Sahu said that the launching of ‘lED Foods’ trademark will give a brand to the products of the LBI incubatees. The principal of the IED, Bidhu Bhusan Mishra, and vice-principal Sangram Keshri Mohanty also graced the launching ceremony.
