Bhubaneswar: The Confederation of Indian Industry(CII) in collaboration with Mecon is organising a conclave on Capital Goods for Steel Sector: Manufacture in India, here on Tuesday. The main objective of the conclave is to identify the needs of the steel industry and explore the opportunities available for steel plant equipment manufacturing companies and spare parts producers to develop indigenous capacity.
 
The Odisha chief minister, Naveen Patnaik, will inaugurate the conclave which will be graced by union steel minister Chaudhary Birender Singh, and commerce and civil aviation minister Surehs Prabhakhar Prabhu, heavy industry and public sector entreprises minister Anant Gangaram Geete, petroleum minister Dharmendra Pradhan, minister of state steel, Vishnu Deo Sai, and union steel secretary Binoy Kumar.  CEOs of over 20 gobal capital manufactuirng companies from 12 countries and more than 350 delegates are going to praticipate in the conclave.
