Bhubaneswar: The Odisha government Monday clarified that 2nd Saturday continues to be a holiday. Now 2nd and 4th Saturday will be government holidays.

The state government has come out with a fresh office memorandum on June 24, 2019 amending its previous one where in it has done away with the notification declaring Sundays & 2nd Saturdays holidays while rescheduling the office hours and and declaring 4th Saturday a government holiday.

India Whispers point out this error in the government memorandum which declared 4th Saturday as a holiday.

Now with the June 24th memorandum it has become clear that both and 4th Saturdays in a month are holidays for government employees.
