Bhubaneswar: ‘Mo Sarkar’ is going to empower common men in Odisha. Launching the new initiative, Mo Sarkar, the Odisha chief minister Naveen Patnaik Thursday said that henceforth he himself and his ministers would telephone people to know what is happening at the grass root level.

Addressing the state-level 73rd Independence Day, here on Thursday, Patnaik said that the Mo Sarkar programme will be rolled out on the occasion of Gandhi Jayanti, this year. He said Mo Sarkar would further the 5Ts initiatives and people can share their experiences in police station, block offices, tehsil offices and hospitals with the chief minister and ministers. While all the police stations and district hospitals would covered in the first phase, other offices would come under the programme by March 5,2020.

“I am your Chief Minister. I would personally call you up and ask you about the kind of response and services you get while visiting police stations and hospitals.  I would also want to know about your experience at government offices. Ministers of my Cabinet and senior officers at district level will also telephone you to get feedback, ” said Patnaik.
