Contribute to growth of business & economy: Odisha chief secretary

Bhubaneswar: The three -day Business Excellence Meet-2019 of Xavier Institute of Business Management, Bhubaneswar (XIMB) got off, here on Frdiay.

The Odisha chief secretary Asit Tripathy inhis inaugural address to the students, industry and business leaders who met for the occasion, Sri Tripathy advised to consider the people as important stakeholders of business. Sri Tripathy added, “people are the important actors in economy and hence, their interest should be prioritized in the business and corporate world.” Considering people as participants would help in sustainable growth of the business house itself. 

            Addressing the gathering The vice-chancellor Xavier University, Fr. Antony lighted upon different dimensions of ‘innovating business’.  President, TQM and Steel Business, Tata Steel Mr Anand Sen, Registrar, Xavier University Fr. E.A. Augustine and Academic Dean Dr. Shridhar Kumar Dash addressed the inaugural session. Sri Anjan Mohanty, General Secretary Student Executive Council coordinated the session.

            The Summit will be held for three days from today to 15th September, 2019. The entire seminar has been slated in 11 sittings including the inaugural and closing ceremony. The topics like ‘new age technological innovations’, ‘cutting edge technology in transforming the business’, ‘dynamic business models’, ‘invest, innovate and integrate’, ‘globalization in business’, ‘delivering proposition through analytics’, ‘ taming the automation sprawl’ etc will be discussed in the seminar. The industry stalwarts and the business icons from Tata Group, Aditya Birla Group, Infosys, Sequoia Fitness, Lenovo, Deloitte, IBM, L&T, Thickshake, Reliance, OYO Rooms, UTI Mutual Fund, and DXC Technologies will deliberate on the topics.
