Bhubaneswar: The Odisha government Tuesday kicked off a series of regional workshops on business reforms to enhance the Ease of Doing  Business environment in the State. The workshops under the umbrella ‘Business Reforms Action Plan’ (BRAP) will be held at six industrial hubs like Angul, Bhubaneswar, Balasore, Berhampur, Sambalpur and Sundergarh with an aim to meet as many as 720 industries and their representatives.

Senior officials of Ipicol, directorate of industries and experts senstised the stake holders from Balasore, Bhadrak and Mayurbhanj districts at Balasore on Tuesday. Over 140 industries representatives participated in the workshop.

Earlier, the officials and experts had met the industries representatives of Angul, Boudh, Dhenkanal, Kandhmal and Keonjhar at Angul last week. 

On 25th of this month 144 industries from Khordha, Nayagarh, Puri, Cuttack, Jagatsinghpur, Jajpur and Kendraprada will be sharing challenges and issues at Bhubaneswar. Next on October 29, the workshop at Berhampur is expecting attendance of 109 industries from Ganjam, Gajapati, Kalahandi, Koraput, Nabarangpur and Rayagada.

Similarly, about 122 industries based at Sambalpur and its neighborhood districts like Bargarh, Bolangir, Deogarh, Jharsuguda, and Sonepur are going to meet on November 5, next month. In Sundergarh workshop on November 6, as many as 89 industries operating at Sundargarh and nearby areas are going to participate.
