“To protect the human civilization we should take steps to protect our soil and its fertility. Because, around 75 billion ton of soil is getting eroded every year”, said Higher Education Minister Dr. Arun Sahu in a state-level event organized at the Krushibhavan on the occasion of World Soil day, here on Thursday.
Dr. Garg stated that, “Now there are soil testing centers in 314 blocks in the state and around 19 lakh soil health cards have been distributed among the farmers during 2018-19. “
In the meeting, Dr. Srinath Dixit, Dr. M.Muthukumar and Prof. Kumbhkaran Rout were also present and shared their experienced views and some valuable advice to conserve soil.
