Bhubaneswar: The Odisha government Thursday listed out the 16 thematic areas to pose for investment in the forthcoming Make-in-Odisha in November this year.

The government has identified sectors like urban development, IT, apearal and textile, downstreams, agro and food processing, tourism and travel trade, mining and minerals, metal production, chemicals, petro chemicals and plastics, infrastructure, healthcare, sports, Bhubaneswar as sports capital, port based industries, and logistics parks. There would be sectral sessions on these thematic area.

The chief secretary, Asit Tripathy, chaired the preparatory meeting where the principal secretary industries Hemant Sharma gave the outline of the Odisha government’s biennial industrial investment conclave.

The chief secretary directed to include Ambassadors Meet, Skill Fest, sector specific CEOs Round Tables, Hackathons, academia- industries interface on the sidelines of the conclave.

He also directed all the departments to workout different business modules.

Sharma proposed for multiple-country and industry partnership for the five-day conclave.
