Bhubaneswar: The IAS Officer’s Association Odisha has supported the Odisha government’s decision to go for 50% salary cut of the IAS officers serving the State.

The Association’s honorary secretary Vishal Dev in a press statement has said, “The Indian Administration Service Officers’ Association Odisha supports the deferment of 50% of gross salary of All India Services (AIS) officers of the State by the government of Odisha in order to face the financial exigencies that may come up in the wake of COVID-19 pandemic.”

“The Association reiterates that its members firmly stands with the people of Odisha in this time of crisis,” stated Vishal Dev.

The chief secretary, Asit Tripathy, is the president and development commissioner Suresh Chandra Mohapatra is the vice president of the Association. Prem Chandra Choudhry is the treasurer.

Ashok Meena, Krishan Kumar are R Vineel Krishna are executive committee members of the Association.
