New Delhi: Country’s largest generating company NTPC Ltd. has paid a final dividend of Rs. 1,970.67 crore for FY2018. The dividend amount is 23.90% of the paid-up equity share capital of the Company.
The NTPC CMD Gurdeep Singh presented the cheque of Rs 1217.29 crores towards the government of India shares to the union power minister RK Sing in the presence of union power secretary AK Bhalla, director finance K Sreekant, director (HR) Saptarshi Roy, director project SK Roy, director operation Pradesh Tiwari, director technical Prasant Kumar Mohanty from NTPC.
This is the 25th consecutive year that NTPC Ltd. has paid dividend.
