Bhubaneswar: Odisha chief minister Naveen Patnaik has wished a bright future for the Amphan new born baby.

Patnaik, in his facebook account write, “Wish a bright future for the new born baby.”

The girld child was born in a fire brigade vehicle when the cyclone Amphan was hitting Odisha coast on 20th May.

The chief minister has also spraised the Kendrapara firemen who saved the life of mother and her new born girl child.

The girl child was born when the mother was being taken to Mahakalpada Primary Health Centre on 20th May morning in the fire brigade vehicle.

The Kendrapada fire brigade personnel came to the rescue of the pregnant mother when she was writing in labour pain and the ambulance was not reaching her due to road blockade by uprooted trees. The firemen cut the trees, cleaned the road and carried the expectant mother Janaki Sethi of village Jahanra under Mahakalpada block of Kendrapada district to the Mahakalpada primary health centre. However, on the way to hospital, the mother gave birth to the girl child inside the fire brigade vehicle.
The assistant fire officer of Kendrapara fire station, Birabara Tudu and his team feel encouraged by the good words of chief minister.
