Bhubaneswar: Over 2 crore Olive Riddley hatchlings swam into the this season at Ekanasi in Kendrapada district.
The Rajnagar DFO, Bikash Ranjan Dash, said that 2.06 lakh hechlings have entered into the sea near Ekanasi of Gahirmatha beach, the largest rookery of endangered Olive Riddley turtle, of Rajnagar forest division. He said that the rate of hatching was 70% this year.
