Paradip ( Odisha) : Paradip Port achieved the handling 100 Million Tonnes (MT) of cargo fourth year in row. Despite COVID-19 crisis, it once again repeated the feat by crossing the 100 MT mark in succession and achieved cargo throughput of 100.30 MMT till 21.02.2021 in the current fiscal.

The above achievement of 100 MT of cargo again by PPT in the current fiscal is despite global COVID-19 crisis and 2 of its existing berths are not available for handling of cargo these are under mechanization process.

For the above feat, Paradip Port Trust chairman Vinit Kumar congratulates the user industries, stevedores, steamer agents, trade unions  to have their continued faith on the ability of the Port to serve them.  Congratulating the employees and officers of the Port for their continued commitment to serve the trade, PPT chairman takes the pleasure of appreciating the support of goverment authorities like ministry of ports, shipping & waterways (GoI), Govt. of Odisha, Indian Railways, Customs, Immigration Department, Dock Safety, MMD as well as all Service Providers/Terminal Operators for their sustained effort in achieving the above feat.
