Jharsuguda, Odisha: Vedanta Aluminium, India’s largest producer of aluminium, successfully conducted a Malaria, Dengue and Diarrhoea Awareness Campaign across its operational areas, reinforcing its commitment to the health and well-being of its communities. The week-long initiative spanned across 28 villages, 2 special schools, and 1 old age home, directly impacting over 3,000 individuals through interactive sessions and hands-on demonstrations.

Jayanarayan Pujari,MHU doctor, who led the campaign, said,“The sessions addressedcritical knowledge gaps by presenting health practices in an accessible and relatable manner. Many participants were unaware of how seemingly small practices, like proper handwashing or keeping water containers covered, can significantly reduce health risks. It was encouraging to witness both children and adults actively engaging in the discussions and expressing their commitment to adopting healthier habits.”
