Berhampur: TP Southern Odisha Distribution Limited (TPSODL) has inaugurated on Thursday three new facilitiesi: Aska Electrical Division-I (AED-I) Office Building at Taluka Road, Aska; the Vocational Training Centre (VTC) for Welding at Samarjhola, Ganjam; and the Nuagam Electrical Section-I Office at Aska in Ganjam district.

The Aska AED-I Division Office will act as a central hub for power services in Aska and nearby areas. The office has modern amenities, a consumer cash counter, and seating facilities for visitors. It will ensure faster service delivery, better grievance redressal, and improved operational efficiency in the region.
The Vocational Training Centre at Samarjhola is another step in TPSODL’s community development efforts. The centre will provide practical, industry-focused welding training to local youth. It aims to make them job-ready and skilled. By connecting training with employability, the VTC will create livelihood opportunities and contribute to socio-economic growth. TPSODL will also offer jobs to trained and certified candidates, ensuring that skill building leads to sustainable income.
The new Nuagam Electrical Section-I Office will further strengthen TPSODL’s operational presence. The facility will improve the working environment for employees. It will also enhance consumer access, leading to quicker services and closer community engagement.
