Bhubaneswar: The managing director and CEO of Canara Bank, Rakesh Sharma, has called upon his managers and employees in Odisha to focus on retail lending, recovery during the current fiscal. He urged them to work towards the overall growth of the bank. Sharma was addressing the executives and local branch heads of the bank, here on Friday.
Canada Bank Odisha head and deputy general manager Shreekanta Mohapatra presented the Circle Profile of the bank in the meeting and assured growth of the bank in the state in coming days.
The CEO during his visit to the state graced the ‘Retail & MSME Credit Expo’, organized by the Bank at Red Cross Bhawan to boost retail lending and MSME credit. He interacted with existing and prospective customers, builders and vehicle dealers those have put up their stalls in the Expo besides MSME assocaites and general manager SIDBI. He also handed over the sanction letters to few customers on the spot.
The MD inaugurated the orientation programme of the new batch of management students of Asian School of Business Management, Bhubaneswar.
