Bhubaneswar: Odisha showcased the Paradip Petroleum, Chemicals & Petro-chemicals Investment Region (PCPIR) to national and international investors at the Mumbai Conclave on Gobal Chemicals and Petro-chemicals Manufacturing Hub in India.

Participating in the two-day Conclave, organised by FICCI, here on November 10 and 11, the Odisha minister for industries and MSME, Dibya Sankar Mishra, urged the investors to have a look at the facilities available in Odisha for investment in the PCPIR and the Paradip Plastic Park. Asserting that Odisha provides a stable government and investment friendly ecology with Single Window System, the minister said investors will get maximum with minimum investment.

The industries and MSME secretary, Hemant Sharma, gave a presentation on Odisha’s chemicals and petro-chemicals ecosystem. Stating that the competition will come in chemicals and petro-chemical sector from countries like China, Vietnam and Singapore, he said Odisha would be an ideal place for investment to met the competition.

The Conclave was inaugurated by union chemicals and fertilizer minister, DV Sadanada Gouda.
